1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the BankPay Insurance platform ("Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Nature of Service

BankPay Insurance provides a digital interface for facilitating insurance premium payments through the Bharat Bill Payment System (BBPS), an RBI-mandated payment infrastructure. Our role is limited to:

We do not sell, issue, underwrite, renew, cancel, or advise on insurance policies. All policy matters are handled exclusively by the respective insurance companies.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age and a resident of India to use this Platform. By registering, you confirm that the information provided is accurate and complete.

4. User Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. BankPay Insurance is not liable for any loss resulting from unauthorized access due to your failure to protect your credentials.

5. Payment Processing

All payments are processed through BBPS and RBI-authorized payment gateways. By initiating a payment, you authorize us to process the transaction on your behalf. Payment confirmation from our Platform does not guarantee immediate reflection in your insurer's system — processing times vary by insurer.

6. Accuracy of Information

You are solely responsible for entering accurate policy details (policy number, insurer name, premium amount). BankPay Insurance is not liable for failed or misdirected payments resulting from incorrect information provided by the user.

7. Refunds & Cancellations

Refund eligibility is subject to our Refund & Cancellation Policy. Successfully processed premium payments forwarded to insurers are generally non-refundable. Failed transaction refunds are handled as per payment gateway timelines.

8. Service Charges

BankPay Insurance may apply a convenience fee or service charge on transactions. This will be displayed clearly before you confirm payment. Service charges are non-refundable once a transaction is processed.

9. Prohibited Uses

You may not use this Platform for any fraudulent, illegal, or unauthorized purpose. You may not attempt to circumvent any security measures, reverse-engineer the Platform, or use automated tools to access our services without authorization.

10. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, and technology on this Platform are the property of Swacpay Solutions Private Limited or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any content without prior written permission.

11. Limitation of Liability

BankPay Insurance's liability for any claim arising from use of this Platform is limited to the service charge paid by you for the specific transaction in question. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages, including losses arising from insurer processing delays or policy decisions.

12. Privacy

Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from the use of this Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in India.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

It is neither an insurance company registered under the Insurance Act, 1938, nor an insurance intermediary registered with IRDAI. Premium payments are processed through BBPS, an RBI-authorized payment network. All insurance products and policy decisions are governed by the respective IRDAI-registered insurance companies.
